Listen with big ears as Elefantöra invites you to a unique sound adventure that challenges the audience to experience sound in new and unexpected ways!
Since 2017, Elefantöra has been pushing the boundaries of what electronic music can be. Band members Ewe Larsson and Joel Mansour use digital music tools, body, movement and sound design in a musical process where listening always leads the way.
This evening we will hear them together with the Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra in parts from Beats, Sounds and Strings by composer and conductor Hans Ek – a commissioned work that had its premiere in 2022 at the Tryckeriet activity center here in Helsingborg together with Gageego! In this work, the electronic, analog, acoustic and unexpected meet in a universe of rhythms and sounds.
So expect a musical room full of contrasts! A creative mix of classical and experimental electronic music, which is both innovative and emotionally moving, where the sounds push boundaries and are not just heard. They’re felt.
