MuseIT is short for Multisensory, User-centred, Shared cultural Experiences through Interactive Technologies. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

It is an EU-funded project, where the University of Bor\u00e5s is the project coordinator and Swedish Share Music & Performing Arts is involved. Gageego! also participates, during key presentations that meet the audience on two occasions:<\/p>\n\n

June 17, 2025: Pilot 2<\/h2>\n\n

In June, Pilot 2<\/a> will be presented, focusing on co-creating music at a distance: \u201cBeyond Latency: Co-Creating Music Across Distance\u201d with Sophia Alexandersson and Nigel Osborne from ShareMusic & Performing Arts together with Gageego!<\/p>\n\n

The event is being held digitally with participants from both Sweden and other parts of the world, but can also be followed on site in the Balder building, University of Bor\u00e5s (only for pre-registered participants). <\/p>\n\n

\u2013 We develop technology and methodology to broaden access to and participation in cultural assets for everyone, regardless of functional variation, says Nasrine Olson<\/strong>, project manager for MuseIT, and associate professor and assistant professor at the Faculty of Librarianship, Information, Education and IT.<\/p>\n\n

\u2013 When we produce multidimensional information, this is not only interesting for people with functional variation, but for everyone. For example, in a painting depicting rain, music, haptic sensation or other sensory impressions can enhance the experience of the rain.<\/p>\n\n

September 2 \u2013 3, 2025: The Final Event<\/h2>\n\n

The first week of September it is time for the final symposium of the project<\/a>. The event is shared between Bor\u00e5s and the R\u00f6hsska Museum in Gothenburg. <\/p>\n\n
